The Planning Portal, although simple to use, was developed from the latest in advanced workflow technologies. The Planning Portal was built from Microsoft’s SharePoint 3 and utilizes SQL Reporting Services. The following are some additional highlights of the The Planning Portal’s technology functionality:

 

General Application Information

  • Availability of Upgrades:
    • Minor Version upgrades are released approximately every 6 months
    • Major version upgrades are released approximately every 18 months
  • Multi-user application ("unlimted" users with concurrent access)
  • File and field level access controls
  • Workflow automation works with all email platforms
  • File formats that can be imported or exported include:
    • CSV
    • MS Excel
    • XML with web services
    • All other file formats can be uploaded and stored in the document repository
  • Hosted by Avalution (two data center model)
  • Near real-time data backup (async)
  • 99.9% uptime guarantee
  • Browsers supported: I.E. 7.0 and above, FireFox 3.0 and above
  • API integration with third-party applications and services

Authentication

  • Passwords encrypted and stored in a SQL Database
